On my show AmericaFirst on BTR this morning I read the definition of treason from the Constitution. it is found in Article III: Section 3 of the Constitution. It reads as follows:
"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, on on Confession in open Court."
The definition is quite clear. Unless you are levying war against the states united, you are not committing treason. Rising up in a popular movement designed to restore a Republican form of government to the states would not constitute treason under the our Constitution.
Organizing a voter revolt would not fit the definition. A state's legislature reasserting that states sovereignty as a part of the union, doesn't fit it either. So what are we afraid of?
How long before we finally get a fire in our belly for our liberty and stand up united and do something about it? Or are we just complaining to be complaining?
Maybe its that we are to comfortable setting in our recliner watching mindless TV shows every evening instead of taking action. Maybe we are afraid we might lose our job or our friends? Whatever it is it needs to come to a stop.
On my Show America First on BlogTalkRadio, I have served notice to my listeners we identify problems not complain. Once we identify a problem we are to try to come up with a solution.
Its time for action, because after all, "talk is cheap".
